Social Distancing

Due to social distancing and Government guidelines on the number of mixed households allowed in the same accommodation,  The Steadings will allow one booking, this can be up to a maximum of 1 household to a maximum of 4 guests as per our accommodation capacity.  Again as changes in guidelines and the climate change we will update accordingly.   The Beech Lodge will allow a maximum of 3 households up to a maximum of 6 guests as per our accommodation capacity.  

 

 

Group Bookings

As a result of several incidents in the past we are no longer accepting Hen Groups, Stag Groups, Graduation celebrations, Birthday events, or groups under the age of 25.  This is mainly due to excessive noise levels that are simply unacceptable.  As previously stated this is a countryside, relaxed, peaceful location with residential neighbours that have to be considered.  For these groups we are simply not the right venue for you.  In our quiet setting its all about peaceful, relaxed enjoyment and not partying into the wee hours.

Reservations

No deposit is required to book, card details are required to secure booking, no charges will be made unless under the terms of no show or cancellation out-with cancellation period.

Payment Methods

We accept debit & credit cards, (cash payments may be accepted after Covid restrictions have been relaxed)

 

Acceptance of Booking

Confirmation of your booking by deposit assumes acceptance of our Terms & Conditions by the person placing the booking.

 

Cancellation

Should you require to cancel your booking this must be cancelled 7 days prior to your arrival date.  In the event of a cancellation less than 7 days or a no show on day of arrival the full booking value will be charged.

 

Earlier than Scheduled Departures

If you have to leave earlier than your scheduled departure we would have to treat this as a last minute cancellation.  We fully appreciate that circumstances can change out with your control & we would endeavour to keep the cancellation cost to a minimum.

Check In & Check Out

Due to the new cleaning and safety guidelines our turnaround procedure between each set of guests must be adjusted.  There will be a full 24hrs blocked period between every departure and arrival. 

This is to allow the safe cleaning and use for both us and our staff and all of our guests to ensure the maximum safety during your stay.  

Due to social distancing we have now changed our check in and welcome procedures.

  

We will still greet and get to know every one of our guests at a social distance on arrival, these videos and booklets allow us to provide our guests with all the information they will need right at their fingertips to enjoy their stay safely.

Dog Accommodation

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.  Pets own bedding must be provided. A £5 surcharge is payable for each dog.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted only in designated outside areas.

Loss of Keys

Room keys will incur a £70 charge for replacement.

Damages

Any damage or breakages within guest accommodation will be charged accordingly.

Hot Tub

There is no additional charge for the hot tub facilities.  We cannot not guarantee that this facility will always be available.

Number of Guests

The number of guests in the accommodation must not exceed the number booked into the room.
